Genetic Testing Panels
All tests are performed at our partner certified laboratory in Guangzhou. Results are provided in English with clinical interpretation. Pricing provided upon consultation.
Hereditary Breast / Ovarian Cancer Panel
Assesses hereditary risk for breast and ovarian cancer. Recommended for individuals with a personal or family history of breast or ovarian cancer, or those of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.
Hereditary Cancer Panel — Female
Comprehensive hereditary cancer risk assessment for women — covers breast, ovarian, colorectal, endometrial, gastric, and other hereditary cancer syndromes. Recommended for women with a family history of cancer.
Hereditary Cancer Panel — Male
Comprehensive hereditary cancer risk assessment for men — covers colorectal, prostate, gastric, pancreatic, and other hereditary cancer syndromes. Recommended for men with a family history of cancer.
Septin9 Methylation Test (Blood)
A blood-based colorectal cancer risk assessment test. Detects abnormal methylation of the Septin9 gene — an early molecular marker for colorectal cancer. Non-invasive alternative or complement to colonoscopy.
SDC2 Methylation Test (Stool)
A stool-based colorectal cancer risk assessment test. Detects abnormal methylation of the SDC2 gene in exfoliated colorectal cells — highly sensitive for early-stage colorectal cancer detection.
ApoE Genotyping
Identifies ApoE genotype to assess risk for Alzheimer's disease and amyloid-related neurodegenerative conditions. The ε4 allele is the strongest known genetic risk factor for late-onset Alzheimer's disease.
MTHFR Genotyping
Assesses folate metabolism efficiency. MTHFR variants affect homocysteine levels and folate processing — relevant for cardiovascular risk, pregnancy planning, anaemia management, and folate supplementation guidance.
ALDH2 Genotyping
Identifies aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) enzyme activity. ALDH2 deficiency is common in East Asian populations and is associated with increased risk of oesophageal cancer, cardiovascular disease, and alcohol-related conditions.
Pricing provided upon consultation. Tests can be booked individually or combined. 30% deposit required to confirm appointment. Balance payable on arrival.
Know Your Risk Before Symptoms Appear
Genetic testing identifies hereditary cancer risk, Alzheimer's susceptibility, metabolic vulnerabilities, and more — enabling proactive, personalised healthcare decisions.
Who Should Consider Genetic Testing?
Which Test Is Right for Me?
Not sure where to start? Use this quick guide based on your age, health history, and goals.
If: You have a family history of breast, ovarian, or pancreatic cancer
Identifies inherited mutations that significantly raise your lifetime cancer risk, enabling early surveillance and preventive options.
If: A parent or grandparent had Alzheimer's or dementia
ApoE ε4 carriers have 3–12× higher Alzheimer's risk. Knowing your status enables earlier lifestyle and medical planning.
If: You are East Asian and drink alcohol, or have family history of oesophageal cancer
ALDH2 deficiency affects ~40% of East Asians and is linked to 10× higher oesophageal cancer risk from alcohol exposure.
If: You have had recurrent miscarriages, blood clots, or unexplained cardiovascular issues
MTHFR variants impair folate metabolism and raise homocysteine, a key cardiovascular and pregnancy risk factor.
If: You are 40+ and want non-invasive colorectal cancer screening
Detects colorectal cancer DNA in blood at early stages (Stage I–II). Ideal for those who want to avoid colonoscopy.
If: You want a comprehensive genetic health overview
Combine BRCA1/2, ApoE, MTHFR, ALDH2, and Septin9 for a complete picture of your hereditary risks across cancer, brain, heart, and metabolism.
